Il cambiamento di genere sotto il regime talebano
L’Afghanistan ha migliaia di persone appartenenti al gruppo LGBT nate da famiglie diverse in tutto il paese…
I am Najeeb Farzad and have been a journalist, human rights activist, and cultural practitioner in Afghanistan since 2007. I have also been the founder & director of Asia Culture House (Asia Culture & Art Organization) which was a non-profit organization in Kabul, Afghanistan. I started this career as a photojournalist, writer and blogger in 2007 and wrote many articles. I have long standing photography experience and as a result I have an archive of photographs from daily life, photojournalism, landscape, nature, and etc. Some of my professional pictures have been exhibited in many exhibitions in Afghanistan, Europe, and the USA. I have also written articles, news reports, short stories, poems, and novels. Many of my articles and news reports were published in many local magazines and newspapers. Including the articles, I have published some short and long stories and poems. My most recent novel is “Ghowghay Ishq”, a 256-page long Persian love story that is published by Asia Culture House. The novel vividly describes stories of love, longing, and extra-marital affairs in rural Afghanistan. I am currently working on another similar novel. After the collapse of the Afghanistan government, I was relocated to Italy with the support of the Italian government and thousands of other vulnerable Afghanistan people. Now I am working with Kairos Magazine as a freelance writer and journalist.
